Strictly necessary
Staff sign-in cookie (lr_admin): set only when an editor or administrator signs in to the admin area, to keep them signed in. It is HTTP-only, expires after 14 days or at sign-out, and is never set for ordinary visitors.
Preferences (browser storage)
A single sessionStorage entry remembers that you closed the welcome popup so we do not show it again during your visit. It is deleted when you close the tab and is never sent to our servers.
What we do not use
No advertising cookies, no analytics or session-recording cookies and no third-party embeds that set cookies. If that changes we will update this page and ask for your consent first.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies and site storage in your browser settings. Doing so will not stop you reading the site.
